Change the file association when the CAD file associated with a costed component has moved or if you want to associate the costed component with another file that has the same name.

Note: This option is not available in Working in Direct Integration mode.
Changing the file association
Tip: Save a scenario of the component to prevent data loss in case the file has significant geometry changes or was created in a different CAD system. See Work with Scenarios.

Select File > CAD File Association to display the Select New File Association window.

Navigate to the file you want to associate and select it.
The file name must match the component name to change the file association. If the file name has changed, you must open a new component and copy the original cost settings instead. For more information, see Copy Cost Settings . -
Click Open to associate the selected file with the costed component.
